Sarah and Alex's wedding day was the perfect chilly fall day. The venue was beautiful, the bridal party was incredible and even with the ominous clouds the entire day was perfect. I have personally known Sarah for a long time- too long to count. When she asked me to be her photographer- I did not hesitate for a second.
I remember when Sarah first started dating Alex- now mind you I was off living in a different city but it was awesome to see where their relationship went. Sarah is really good at planning adventures and one that really sticks with me was her surprising Al with a trip to Yellowstone in May of 2017. I was quite impressed with her surprise planning skills. This is how I knew their wedding would be one for the books. I asked them a few questions, so you could get to know them....
How did you first meet?
We first met when we were 18. We were friends for about 5 years before we started dating.
What is your "love" story?
Our friendship just grew over time. One night, we were out at Carlyle Brewery on their back patio. We were talking and I just remember feeling something click. That is the moment I knew I liked Al, as more than just a friend. He also felt something shift that night. He likes my goal oriented attitude and I liked how handsome he looked, but also that he was one of the most kind and honest men I had ever met.
When did you get engaged?
We got engaged on 8/25/17 in Sonoma, Ca. If you had 3 words to describe your wedding, what would they be? Romantic, Relaxed and celebratory
